ÍÑ¿ã°É Bay's Kinesiology is a dynamic and interdisciplinary department that explores the science and art of human movement. It brings together knowledge from anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology, sociology, history, biochemistry, and philosophy, bridging the gap between the sciences and the humanities. Through kinesiology, we gain a deeper understanding of how the body moves, functions, and achieves optimal performance.

The Department of Public Health at ÍÑ¿ã°É Bay prepares students to address today’s most pressing health challenges through a focus on social justice, equity, and community impact. Our programs equip future public health professionals to understand and address the social determinants of health, reduce disparities, and promote well-being across diverse populations. With an emphasis on identifying root causes of adverse health outcomes and developing strategies for systemic change, we empower graduates to become leaders and change agents who create healthier, more equitable communities.

The Department of Social Work at ÍÑ¿ã°É Bay is rooted in the diverse urban communities of the San Francisco Bay Area, where we live, learn, and serve. Our program prepares socially conscious practitioners with the values, knowledge, and skills to promote equity and build partnerships across multicultural settings. With a century-long legacy of advocating for vulnerable and marginalized populations, social workers continue to play a vital role as change agents, empowering individuals and communities to thrive in an increasingly complex and diverse world.
