Food Pantry

Currently enrolled students at �ѿ�� Bay have access to free groceries through our campus food pantries. We work with Alameda County Community Food Bank and Contra Costa Community Food Bank to stock our shelves.

The pantry is stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and proteins, soup, rice, beans, peanut butter, pasta, oatmeal and cereal, and snacks.

Eligibility

Must be a currently enrolled student at �ѿ�� Bay
Currently experiencing hunger/food insecurity
Must bring your student ID and reusable bag(s) every time you visit the food pantry

Mondays: 12:00pm - 4:30pm

Tuesdays: 11:00am - 4:30pm

Wednesdays: 11:00am - 4:30pm

Thursdays: 11:00am - 4:30pm

How the Food Pantry Works

Step 1: Make an appointment through Bay Advisor

Step 2: Check-in

Check in at the Front Desk of the WellNest. On the first floor of the North University Union.

Complete the Food Pantry Sign-in Form

Check-in (show your student ID to the staff)

Step 3: Shop

Grab a shopping cart and shop for items. All items are based on availability. We'll let you know if there are any limits. Ask if you need more of any item, remembering you can return every 14 days.

Step 4: Check-out

Check out with staff. Bag items in a re-usable bag you've brought.

Eligible CSUEB students are permitted to come to the food pantry once every 14 days.
- Sell-by date: tells the store how long to display the product for sale.
- Used-by/Expiration date: the last date recommended for the product while at peak quality.
- Best-by date: tells customers the date by which the product should be eaten for best flavor or quality.
