Summer Individual Evaluation and Treatment

We are pleased to offer summer therapy services for individuals with communication impairments. Our communication support services include speech and language evaluations and treatment, and the development of individualized home programs. All can apply for services; no referral is required. Please note as a training program, clients are scheduled for evaluations according to graduate clinicians' training needs and in the order they are received. Summer clinic is shortened and very limited and as with evaluations, therapy clients are scheduled according to clinicians’ training needs.

PIONEER PALS - An inclusive summer camp for young children

Pioneer Pals is a vibrant, inclusive program designed for neurodiverse children ages 3–10 who want to build their social communication skills in a playful and supportive environment. Through a variety of developmentally appropriate, engaging, and fun activities, campers will make new friends, explore new experiences, and grow their confidence—all while being guided by a caring team of speech-language pathologists, educational specialists, and other dedicated professionals.

Set in a dynamic indoor-outdoor setting, Pioneer Pals encourages creativity, connection, and community. We also welcome one sibling per camper with a disability to join in the fun, helping us foster a warm, inclusive space where all children can thrive together.

Information and applications for Pioneer Pals Summer 2026 should be available in March. Please note that a submitted application does not guarantee a spot.

Note: All campers must be able to independently use the toilet at the start of camp. A FAQ menu will be available soon.

Aphasia Treatment Program

This past summer we offered an intensive in-person summer clinic, which included group activities and peer mentoring. Group participants met Monday through Thursday for two weeks from 10 am to 2 pm. For those participating in the peer mentoring program, sessions were Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Information about a summer intensive this year will become available around April/May.
More information about our Aphasia Treatment Program can be found here.
