As an instructional and small research-oriented department, we are committed to the promotion of excellence in education. Our mission is (1) to teach students the most important skills that are required by the industry, (2) to educate students as unique individuals equipped with quality and depth of information in the diverse fields of Computer Science empowered by inspiring intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and creativity (3) to prepare them for full and ethical participation in a diverse, multi-cultural society and encourage them to be lifelong learners who will contribute positively to the economic well-being of our region and nation (4) to prepare them to tackle complex 21st Century challenges facing the world.
