Through experiential learning and up-to-date curriculum and technologies, the proposed new Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Analytics degree program will prepare accounting students with career-ready knowledge and skills to pass the new CPA Exam and to succeed in their professional careers

Lower Division Core

The following seven (7) lower division (200 level) courses for twenty-one (21) units are required.

Upper Division Core

Upper-division courses will be offered in a variety of modalities: Hybrid (In-Person and Web-Synchronous), Web-Synchronous, and Web-Asynchronous to match your learning style, location, and scheduling needs. Core and elective courses include:
ACCT 300: Business Leadership for Accountants
ACCT 311, ACCT 312, and ACCT 411: Intermediate and Advanced Financial Accounting
ACCT 321 and ACCT425: Auditing and Auditing and Control Environment
ACCT 331, ACCT 431, and ACCT 432: Taxation for Individual, Business Entities, and Tax Compliance and Planning.
ACCT 340, ACCT341, ACCT342: Introduction to Advanced Data Analytics in Accounting
MGMT 350, MGMT 360, and ACCT 302: Operation Management and Cost Accounting
