CSUEB faculty and staff serve in QM-trained roles that drive the campus's nationally ranked QA program. This page rosters everyone currently certified as a Master Reviewer, Peer Reviewer, or Workshop Facilitator. CSUEB has the largest QM-trained team of any CSU campus.

QM roles explained
Quality Matters (QM) certifies several distinct roles. Each requires specific training and demonstrated experience.
Master Reviewer
Senior reviewer who leads QM Official Course Review teams. Must have completed multiple peer reviews and additional QM training.
Peer Reviewer
Trained QM reviewer who serves on review teams evaluating online courses against the QM Higher Education Rubric.
Workshop Facilitator
Certified to deliver specific QM workshops (APPQMR, DYOC, IYOC) in face-to-face or online format.
Certified QM Master Reviewers
Lead Official Course Review teams and contribute to QM's national review-quality standards.

Workshop facilitators are certified to deliver QM's standardized faculty-development workshops in either face-to-face or online format. CSUEB facilitators run multiple cohorts every year.
