Neural Basis of Behavior; Ecophysiology
Our research focuses mainly on the sea slug Tritonia. We study how the slug's brain controls navigation behavior, and how it senses odors, objects, and the geomagnetic field. We are also exploring how it eats toxic prey and how it protects itself from predators with toxins.
