  • I use a Rogerian approach when counseling students. I provide students with unconditional positive regard. My goal is to empower students to make the best informed decisions when it comes to their educational path.
  • I went to Diablo Valley College after high school and transferred to UC Davis. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies. I then went on to get my Master’s Degree in Counseling from St. Mary’s College of California.
  • Top defining moment in Higher Education for me was walking across the stage with my 1 year old son as I graduated with my Master’s Degree from St. Mary’s College of California. Such a beautiful moment to share with my son.
  • I had many successes and failures in college but what I remember most is making lifelong friends that I keep in touch with 20 years later. I even met my wife in college.
  • I’m a father of 3 children and I love spending time with family. I love basketball (playing and watching), reading books and listening to audiobooks. I also love everything Star Wars!
